About us
Norwegian Wines was established by Danilo Costamagna (DC) in 2017, aiming to offer locally produced quality wines for the Norwegian market. DC was born raised in Piemonte and started with a pilot scale production in 2012. He is a member of the board of Norske Druedyrkere and was the winner of the Winemaker of the Year and the Wine of the Year at the first Norwegian Wine Challenge in August 2017. DC has for several years been given guidance and practice in growing and preparing grapevine at Rusvik Grapevine in Asker,Norway. Rusvik Grapevine has more than 20 years of experience growing grapevine in Norwegian climate.
